Marketing Coordinator Part Time

We are looking for a marketing coordinator to join our team on a long term basis. Initially part time 32 hours a week, with the ability to go up to full time for the right candidate.

You will be

  • A hard worker, that is organised and able to work under pressure to deadlines.
  • Self-sufficient, able to work unattended and also as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication and written skills.
  • Confident in liaising with clients and potential clients.
  • Have meticulous attention to detail.
  • Pro-active, dynamic and you think outside the box.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Reporting to our creative director you will be responsible for the following:

In-House Marketing

  • New client development leads
  • Managing our social media channels / edms / blogs

Client Marketing

  • Develop, manage and implement traditional and digital marketing strategies
  • Monitor and report on digital marketing campaign performance
  • Google / social media ad creation and management
  • SEO implementation
  • Plan and execute EDM’s
  • Write blogs with SEO in mind
  • Liaising with clients on the phone, in person and digitally.

Qualifications and experience

  • Knowledge of the horse / rural industry and a love for all things equine
  • Degree / Diploma in Marketing or similar (can be in last year of study)
  • Up to date knowledge of Social Media
  • Google advertising experience
  • Google analytics experience
  • Copywriting

Web Developer Casual or Part Time

We are looking for a web developer to join our team on a long term basis. Flexible Casual or Part Time hours, approx. 16 – 24 hours. We are flexible to work around children and other commitments. You will work with our marketing team.

Work:

  • Take a photoshop design and turn it into a custom wordpress website
  • Develop custom wordpress applications / plugins from scratch
  • Develop custom wordpress themes
  • Work with Contentful
  • Edit existing Websites
  • Edit shopify themes
  • Provide support to our website hosting / wordpress clients
  • Manage our website hosting / server
  • Modify a website to suit SEO

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Experienced using wordpress, developing custom wordpress themes and plugins.
  • Qualified in Programming, Development or similar.
  • Experience in website programming for a min 2 years.
  • Experienced in html, css, javascript, php and mysql.
  • Working from design documents (e.g. Photoshop)
  • Experience in modifying a website for SEO

You Will:

  • Have excellent communication skills and speak fluent English as you may need to  communicate with clients directly.
  • Have a driver’s licence, as our office is in rural Victoria.
  • Ability to work hard unattended and be self-motivated.
